Let it Bee
"Let it Bee" is a collection of paintings created to celebrate the plants and flowers that provide nourishment for bees. As flowers have evolved in a symbiotic relationship with bees I thought I should paint for their cause when I learnt that bees are facing great declines throughout the world.
The collection celebrates the bee and inspired by the Beatles song "Let it Be" asks for us to use less pesticides and simply letting nature be, for the sake of the vital Bee!
Proceeds Donated to Binistan
Several of these paintings sold after being exhibited at the British Ambassador's Residence in collaboration with "Stockholm Loves Pollinators" in 2019. Elspeth Cornish then donated 25% to Binistan/Stockholm Loves Pollinators to support them in their work raising awareness for the vitality of bees.
